I've been collecting and listening to many forms of music for many years, and was unfamiliar with Atomic Rooster, although I had always heard the name. I also knew that Carl Palmer was originally in this band. But WOW, I was unaware of their sound! Kind of like ELP meets early Wishbone Ash with other heavy influences thrown in.
