Death Note - Vol. 3 (DVD, 2008, Collector's Figurine; Uncut)

I really like that the anime stays true to the manga. Most adaptations to movies or TV shows are depressingly dissapointing, but not Death Note. I suppose if you've read the manga, you can't really expect anything new, but it's still a good anime.

Up to this point I have never been a big fan of anime in general, with the exception of the Miyazaki films. However, this show really impresses me. The characters are well written and the overarching story is very interesting. Make sure you see this series from the beginning, because the plot unfolds over a fairly tight serial format.

I love the anime! My daughter is reading the graphic novels, and when she told me the plot I was anxious for more. We started buying the dvds and I am officially hooked! There is nothing that I could say negatively about this product.
