Solid Record, if a Bit Formulaic
Review created: 10/02/09(updated 10/02/09)
Breaking Benjamin has established themselves well from their time as an upstart band from Northeast Pennsylvania to a nationally renowned group that can tour with the likes of Seether and Three Days Grace — and hold their own. Their latest album, "Dear Agony," is everything you'd expect from the band. This isn't necessarily a bad thing, as Ben Burnley and crew have remained consistent throughout their discography. "Dear Agony," however, does not add anything new to the band's repertoire. Breaking Benjamin is still building toward their masterwork, their opus. In the meantime, "Dear Agony" is a satisfying addition for fans.
