The Dean Martin and Jerry Lewis Collection - Vol. 1 (DVD, 2006, 4-Disc Set)

I grew up watching these movies with Martin and Lewis and have been looking to buy them. I started looking for them one by one at my local entertainment store but they could not order any of them. Then I had this great idea to check on eBay and low and behold there they were. I am extremely happy with my purchase.

Our family is collecting ALL the Jerry Lewis/Dean Martin movies. We rented one and our teenage daughter went nuts. They are now her favorite. She gets excited each time we find one she hasn't seen. The Stooge so far is her favorite. With media (TV,radio and movies) out there today, it's nice to know you can find clean entertainment that kids can actually enjoy. (I'm sorry but a show like family guy use to be on at 10pm so kids would be less likely to watch. Now its on at dinner time!!! There is nothing we dislike about these movies.These men and their comedy is timeless! I just wish they had made hundreds more!

I liked it because it was the cheapest I could find the item and I trust buying through e-bay. I know that e-bay would send it to the right address and on time. I haven't had problems with e-bay so I will keep going back to them in the future.

This is a great collection of classic comedy. Martin and Lewis what else to say. The dvds are super clear, they look as if filmed today.

If you are a martin amd lewis fan this is a must have. You will enjoy these dvds in the comfort of your own home with no interuptions. You will be laughing so hard you cant breath. As a collector i can say one thing these dvds are fantastic a must you will enjoy forever.

I (age 22) have always been a big fan of Dean Martin & Jerry Lewis movies. My mom was always concerned with what we watched on TV, and in a world where children are watching violence, sensual content, and profanity; there needs to be some good quality family safe entertainment. There are plenty of movies out there and more coming that have family as the focus audience. However, if you are looking for some good family fun, and have seen everything that came out recently: Look no further than these classic films everyone can enjoy. Don't forget to check out the second volume. It has my personal favorite "Artists and Their Models" in it.

I bought this DVD set because you rarely see Lewis & Martin movies on television and I wanted to buy these movies to cheer up my elderly mother. I enjoyed watching Jerry Lewis when I was a child and it brings back fond memories.

I have always liked the early films of Dean Martin & Jerry Lewis.This collection is some of their best.From their first film together - My Friend Irma to The Caddy and beyond.Well worth a look.

no, they are not as funny as you remember them. but they are worth twice the price of admission to watch the chemistry between martin and lewis. jerry lewis- not a comedian but has got to be the greatest "clown" ever. dean martin- not a great actor but a fabulous "entertainer". together they create a movie that is both humourous and thoroughly enjoyable. you actually smile when dean breaks into song, and then jerry joins in. my 7 year old stepson wants to watch them repeatedly. speaks volumes about the worth of these chunks of american history that a youngster would rather watch a 50 year old, black and white movie instead of the anime rot they are attempting to force feed our youth. its our responsibility to share this history with the generations to come

I purchased this set because I love to watch the early antics of Jerry Lewis when he was starting out in his movie career. I have collected most of these earlier movies and watch them over and over and still laugh at his wit and facial expressions. The Nutty Professor, Who's Minding the Store, The Family Jewels,and Rock A-bye Baby are my favorites of the colorized movies of Jerry.

i will never buy from E-BAY again because i never recieved the merchandise that i brought and they kept my money!

If you are a collector of either comedian or the two together this is a most have!! Great comedy from both actors!!!

If you are a fan of the comedy team Martin and Lewis you will not be dissappointed. I grew up on these comedy classics and I am trying to show my teenage boys that humor is not always bad language or putting people down.

I bought this DVD collection for my husband who loves Martin and Lewis. He especially wanted That's My Boy". Not only has he enjoyed the movies but our two children ages 16 and 12 and their friends as well. I told my husband that he has introduced Martin and Lewis to a whole new generation.
