The Dead Zone - The Complete Second Season (DVD, 2004, 5-Disc Set)

These days, it seems there is less and less quality viewing on television. When was the last time you could watch a program with the whole family that lacked violence, sex, and language, yet is cleverly written, well-acted, intriquing, and stinulates conversation after the viewing? If that sounds like something you have been missing, then you need to check out the series, "Dead Zone". Johnny is a charismatic lead that from the very beginning captures the audience in this sci-fi epic of a man who awakens from a coma with a newfound psychic ability to see accurately into the future as well as the past. Each episode reveals Johnny's brilliance and kind nature as he tries help others, or help others to solve crimes; those that will listen to him, that is.
This series is so good, you won't want to watch it 1 episode at a time! Be prepared for a Stephen King marathon for the whole family!

This is one show that drives me crazy when it is in between seasons. That is why I have the DVD's to keep me occupied while I am waiting. Not only is Anthony Michael Hall a wonderful actor he is a sincerely nice person. We had the pleasure of meeting him last year! AAA+++++

I'm totally addicted to this show. Excellectly written. This show is a drama, romance, mystery all rolled up into one show. Johnny and Sarah still love each other and it shows! The special effects are awesome. The truth about Rev. Purdy is slowly coming out.

What I don't like?? Sarah married Walt while Johnny was in a coma! I want Sara and Johnny back together. Other than that, this show rocks!!! Keep it coming Producers, keep it coming.

The movies inside are science fiction. There isn't anything I would not let a child watch. It is kind of a mystery of how this man can help others.

I would recommend this type of movie for someone who like shows like the "Medium" or "Ghostwhisperer". Get away from the real world for a fun show!

Absolutely LOVE this series! The Dead Zone is the best television series I have ever seen. I have been watching the re-runs on TV for the past year or so, and finally decided that it was time to watch all the episodes in the proper order. So far season 2 is my favorite! It is just beyond the basics of the show, yet it brings in more details into the lives of the characters and develops the story even further.

Continuation of an excellent series. We truly enjoy the plot twists and turns of this series plus the extra little zing of supernatural ability of the main character. Highly recommended.

I love this series! Anthony Michael Hall transcends his Brat Pack past and moves into the present (and future!) as John Smith, a man who sees things from his "dead zone." A car accident puts Smith into a coma for six years. When he wakes up, the "Dead Zone" of his brain also awakens, giving him the power to see into the past and future. If you like "Medium," or any of the darker superheroes like Batman, you will love "The Dead Zone."

I really like the show Dead Zone and wanted to see all of the previous shows. I have only seen the shows from Season 6 and the movie and wanted to see the previous shows and by buying the previous seasons accomplished this.

This is just one of the best T.V. shows to come out, keeps you guessing and on the edge of your seat to see what happens.

Anthony Michael Hall plays his part well. He seems to draw you into the story as if you were right there with him! The plot in each episode is well planned out and executed. Each episode is a mystery, leaving viewers guessing right to the end.

Set is very good. It was brand new and included all episodes for that season. Also there were extra items, interviews etc which was alot of fun!Am really enjoying it alot.Good service and the price was reasonable. Recommend it highly.

I like the tv show and wanted to have the shows on DVD. The quality is excellent and there are no scratches on the discs. The show is amazing. It's about a man who can see the past and the furture by touching things. Due to a section in his brain that has been altered due to a coma. He hepls solve crimes and save peoples lives. It is neat because it's something that could possibly happen.

The seller had explained that this box set (The Dead Zone season 2) had some faults but the discs themselves were not damaged at all. It arrived much sooner that I expected it to.

I like being able to watch as many episode as I want when I have the time. This is a great show. I would recomend it to everyone.
