Zombie infested mall...reporter stuck in the midst of it all...over 40 survivors to save...... Yep its true im talking about Dead Rising.Well where should I start... Okay great game ate a chunk out of my life.Addictive story.a lot of fun to be had with the so many weapons and objects that can be wielded to kill the zombie vermin.(shotguns, swords,CHAINSAWS,benches, guns, toys, golf clubs, and so much more)

Theres a bunch of survivors to save, you could save them ignore them or speed up ther demise. But you only have 3 game days ,but still the game is not short.Especially with the difficulty of the game. You will find your self loading your last save a lot.(Reasons such as to kill a mad crazy clown or to save a woman in distress )Theres several alternate ending. So you'll find your self starting the game over to see another ending. (And if you earn the true ending you unlock 2 new modes over time mode which continues the events of the true ending and a never-ending mode which has no missions or story you just move about the mall killing zombies and people trying to survive as long as you can)

But playing through the game a second or third or fourth time gets easier because when you kill zombies you get pp(Prestige Points)With enough pp you can level up.(Thus gaining another technique or more health or more strength or bigger inventory or more speed)Your levels are carried through each play through. But the games lack of places and times you can save is annoying and takes away from game play.(you can only save in bathrooms which are few in number. You can save in the security room, and you can save after major plotline missions)

Plus there are times when the game just doesnt give enough time to accomplish side missions and save people inbetween story related missions. But since this game can be played several times you could in one play through dedicate your self to the story and in another dedicate your self to saving people and fighting bosses.

Killing zombies has never been this fun.(and hilarious)You can stick stuff on zombies heads(paintings, cones, masks)Plus you can take pictures of these moments.I think this game is great and fun and I recommend Dead Rising.
