Dead Poets Society (DVD, 2006, 15th Anniversary Special Edition)

I love the movie, paid for it but haven't received it yet! It has been over a month and it hasen't shown up. I'm getting a little grumpy.

I don't cry very often in movies, but I cry every time near the end of this one. To show what a profound influence literature and free thought can have on young minds is priceless, and to tie in the passion of Thoreau, Whitman, Shakespeare and others makes this movie invaluable. I have seen it close to 50 times, and always feel as if I have just watched it for the first time. Robin Williams is fantastic, and gives what I still consider the best performance of his career. Don't believe what some of the critics say about this movie (the main message of the movie is to think for yourself and be your own person!); watch it with an open mind and you could be changed forever.

What is there to say. I have never recived the movie yet. The seller took my money and won;t send me the movie.. It was paid for may 05, 2006

This movie is amazing. If you are thinking about buying it please do yourself a favor and buy it. The end is freakin sweet.

one of Robin Williams's best movies ever!! Glad to finally have the DVD. The characters in this film are so awesomely porttrayed.

Robin Williams is outstanding in this film about a private secondary boy's school academy. Beautifully filmed and directed, Dead Poets Society is a must-see for anyone who is or has ever been a teacher at any level. Robert Sean Leonard (from the Fox TV series "House") is excellent in a co-starring role when he was quite young.

I am empressed with the movie. It is in great condition. It got here fairly quick and I like this movie. My b/f and I had watched it in school a few years ago and we wanted to buy it but sometimes it is hard to find older movies. So we got on ebay and they had it. We just had to get it.
