Oingo Boingo's best effort. It has a good balance of their sound on this one cd. Danny Elfman's vocals along with the bands unique sound make this album a must have for the hardcore fan all the way to the casual listener of Oingo Boingo.

Layers and layers of brilliance the way only Danny Elfman can do it. This is one of the best produced and orchestrated albums in my collection and possibly the best album of the 80's. Oingo Boingo will live forever. Must own for anybody with good taste in music. 5 Stars.

If you love music, there is Oiongo Boingo. Out of all the music to be produced over the last 3 decades, most will never be known in a hundred years, but the work of Danny Elfman will live on. True genius, not only those with an IQ over 160, Danny Elfman and Stephen King for example, but those with real creativity and who have the ability to make statements in their art will live on. Professors teaching at universities around the world will teach the creative genres found in the works of Elfman, not just his orchestral and movie scores, but his political and social commentary fond in his music. A Dead Man's Party is one of those rare albums, like Good For Your Soul that will be eternal. I could not advocate the purchase of it any more than I do. Even if you can't understand the lyrics, you will enjoy the music!
