36 volt bosch hammer drill

When it comes to Hammer Drills I've always found Bosch to be at the top. They make consistently good tools that last. When I pulled this out of the box I was surprised at the size. It's big, but not too heavy. That's why it's getting a "very good" instead of an "excellent". I was hoping for a slightly smaller package. I've got the fat pack batteries. The slims might be a little less intimidating, but I wanted this tool for it's power and long life. Good balance and the best performance for a cordless hammer drill yet. I've always preferred cordless if it can at least come close to corded power. It's very good for light to medium duty tile and concrete, for anything heavier duty move up to corded. I tried Milwaukees Magnum Hammer Drill years ago and was disappointed. Boschs Bulldog is far superior. The charger and battery get surprisingly warm when charging, but it is 36 volts. I always like to have the right tool for the job. I'll add this to my collection of other Bosch drills... from the little PS 20 to the SDS Max chippers. A fine addition to my tool box.
