This space heater is really state-of-the-art. The Mica heating element is one of the best ways to heat a room I've ever tried. This heater is light weight, large enough for a 400 sq. ft. room or larger. After a 2 hour initial high heat burn off, the unit functioned very well with multi-adjustments and thermostatic balance.

It works perfectly in my study room, around 12 square meter, on just the 750W.

Delonghi HHP 1500 is good to excellent- I may buy more.I purchased two DeLongh1 HHP 1500 heaters. The early results are quite good. With outside temps in the low 30's on a few occasions, the one in my 220-ish square foot bedroom did the trick using 750 watts. It is true that they give off an odd burning odor for the first two hours of use, but it then stops and I saw this as a "non-event". Other than some quiet "popping" noises as they heat up, these units are virtually silent. Additionally, the technology gives off uniform heat that seems to linger longer than most space heaters after turning the units off. The product has exceeded my expectations in this regard. If the units prove to be durable and cover me in lower temps, I'll give them an even better rating.
