  A coffee grinder
Review created: 01/07/08

It's a coffee grinder. It grinds my coffee. It doesn't do it at a lightning fast speed, but it gets the job done.

I've never had a coffee grinder before, so I don't have much to comapre it to, although I'm sure for more money, a better one could be bought.

I have a DeLonghi Espresso/ Coffee machine, so I bought the DeLonghi coffee grinder. In my opinion, the Espresso machine is much better quality than the grinder, but, then again, the espresso machine was alot more money than the grinder.

I blame myself for buying for the low price. The grind is inconsistent, and the high-pitched squeal it emits is not what I want to hear first thing in the morning. Only this morning I was thinking that I'll go back to letting the coffee shop grind my beans until I can purchase a better grinder. Note: My brother owns a coffee shop and I am spoiled--this grinder my be just fine for some people.

Really does keep the fresh flavor.

I wanted a reasonably priced unit that would make espresso grind without heating and thus ruining the flavor.

This one is a bit difficult to use. You have to hold down the button to keep it going, and if you like fine-ground coffee, that means holding it down for a long time. It's also a bit messy. I get grounds on the counter.

However, for the very low price, the espresso grind is fine and the flavor holds, rather than becoming heated as with the other type of grinding.
