DeLonghi DCF212T 12-Cup Coffee Maker

This is an excellent buy compared to my previous Cuisinarts and Gevalia pots. I like strong New Orleans coffee & chicory and it's the perfect brew. Front access is VERY easy to fill. The one feature I do NOT like is the attached coffee pot lid. It makes for cleaning more difficult & perhaps pot will be subject to more bumps & breaks. So far so good. I've had the product for 6 weeks. Also is very attractive on counter without being too high.

This coffee maker has complete front access - which means the coffee, filter and water are all accessable from a front pullout panel, so you do not have to pour water into the back of the machine - which makes it great for countertop use - you do not have to slide the coffee maker back and forth each time you make coffee....what a smart idea! Also, the timer begins at 6:00am - so you dont have to stand there forever to set your automatic brew time!

I like the design most of all, that you do not need to pull from under the counter to pour water into the coffe pot. Makes good coffee and keeps it hot.

I love he fact that you don't need to pull it away from under the cabinets to fill with water. It makes great coffee and the Automatic timer makes it easy to have a nice cup of coffee when I wake up. My dislike is, it will make a mess if you start brewing when the filter door is open. I decided to buy this item because it is a well known brand and i was tired to have a coffee maker brake 2 months after i buy it. I highly recommend this coffee maker to anyone.

I needed a christmas present. I decided on this item. I used ebay to find a price and where to buy it. I found, what I thought, was what I was looking for. All I needed was a new item to wrap as a christmas present. What I got was a mangled box with a note saying this item was tested prior to shipping. Translation: this is a used (most likely refurbished) item. I went back to ebay to see if I had misread the description. No where was there any indication that I was ordering a used item. When I contacted ebay, they said to contact the seller. The advise was useless as I received the item 2 days before christmas. (I ordered it on 12/10). I decided to write a negative review of the vendor to warn future buyers. (One of the reasons I chose to buy the item from the vendor was it got a 99.99% satisfaction rating.) When I wrote the review and tried to post it, it wouldn't post. To this day, the vendor still shows a 99.99% satisfaction rating. When I contacted ebay about not being able to post a negative review, they said I should contact the vendor. I asked them what one had to do with the other. They said that was all they could offer. As a result, I will never use ebay again.

A very good looking coffee maker with ability to heat mugs. The slowest brewing coffee maker I have ever owned. I immediately purchased another brand that brews a pot in 3 minutes. I would not reccomend this coffee maker.

I didn't review other's reviews of this coffee maker until after I purchased it on Ebay. Coffee Maker was supposed to be new, but had been used. Smelled like burnt coffee, now I know why. The concept for this coffee maker is great - no pulling out from the wall to fill because of the front load for the water. However, as it's brewing you can hear it hitting the heating plate in back. This model (I have no idea about the others) has a leak problem. It's not enough of a leak for it to leak onto the counter top, because it burns off onto the element. So for a little bit of inconvenience, it is a fairly convenient and efficient coffee maker.

I love this coffee maker, mainly because i do not have to move it away from the wall to fill the water tank...

Originally, I wanted the DeLonghi 8 cup maker, and couldn't find one to purchase, but I am very happy with this 12 cup model. I still make only 8 cups at a time but use the slower brew option for better flavor. It's easy to use with a pull out section for front fill, a water level window in the front and a timer so it's ready when I wake up. I use the provided mesh filter but always wipe out the grounds with a paper towel before rinsing to prevent coffee sludge buildup in the drain. When you count in the low price, it's a fine coffee maker!

So far this coffee maker has functioned perfectly. It is easy to fill without dripping water all over the counter top. It fits nicely under the cabinets. The aroma setting is nice to wake up to. The only down feature I have found is the basket has a handle on it that gets in the way when you dump the used coffee grounds. Just have to get used to holding the handle back when you empty the basket.

Everything was the way it was stated. Recieved it in a short amount of time in good condition. The only thing that was wrong was a hole in the coffee maker box but not the shipping box. Nothing was broken though, so it was fine with me.

The coffee from it taste good, that about the only good thing. It often brews coffee everywhere but in the pot. The time setting, and timer setting are not user friendly at all.

I have had several DeLonghi coffee makers. This one is very flimsy compared to my other coffee makers from this manufacturer. I was lured by the low price. That being said it does what it is supposed to do. You just have to treat it with kid gloves. The pull out fill is nice but easily comes unhinged if you are not careful. It is fairly easy to put back on but a bit of an aggravation.I guess given the low price it is about what I expected.

What I liked about this coffee maker was that you don't have to pull it out from under the cabinet to fill the water. The first few times I did pull it out until I got used to it. The coffee maker is slow. Have to wait for perculating for that hot cup of coffee. Although it has a silk screen, I do use coffee filters because its quicker and less messy.

I love the optional Amoma Brew button. With this feature, the coffee is brewed slowly--which optimizes the aroma and flavor. I purchased this DeLonghi as a second coffee maker especially for that purpose. No other coffee maker gives the same result in the flavor of the coffee.

We already own one of these which we purchased for our travel trailer. We liked this one so much we purchased a second one for the house. I like the fact that you only pull out the top to put the coffee in as well as the water. There is also no mess to clean up with this coffee maker.

We love it. Makes great coffee everytime right out of the box. We didn't have to experiment with levels or anything. Love it would recommend it to anyone. Love not having to move it everytime we make coffee. We had an under the cabinet before the pot never poured right. This one does. Love all its features.
