His add said new coffee maker. It was used, scratched badly, missing manual and parts. He offered me another machine, BUT SAID THAT I WOULD HAVE HAD TO PAY THE COST TO SHIP THE UNIT BACK TO HIM (WOW) NOW HE WANTS ME TO BE OUT OF POCKET MORE BECAUSE OF HIS FRAUDULENT SALE! I should have read his reviews more carefully because tons of other buyers have had the same experience and when trying to deal with him on the matter, he acts like they've never had this problem before. I didn't even realize that his account is not a registered ebay account anymore, which I am confussed. How can someone sell something on ebay without having a registered account? I have filed an escalated dispute with paypal for this item already, due to the sellers poore business practices.

It is a great coffee maker. i have BCO264B version and it makes wonderful espresso. Also the quality of american coffee maker is excellent. I gave 4 because the capuccino is a bit dificult to make it because of the design but everything else is great.

The coffee maker was used.....did not work....late getting (after Christmas)....had to pay $35.00 to ship it back and still do not have another machine....I am thinking of quitting using ebay because of vendors like this!

) This machine I got for a steal of a deal I had looked at them on the DeLonghi websight and compared different models and was going to buy direct until I came across this one for half price! This is my first machine and I find it easy to use We love the espresso it makes and the coffe taste's very good also. When this machine wears out I will look for something similair but maybe with out a plastic steamer and and one that does not take 1/2 to warm up to make espresso. most of the time it's not a big deal I learned to just turn it on as soon as I wake up but sometimes I just want espresso now!! All in all very happy with this machine makes good coffee.

Pass on this one
) We bought this thinking it would be nice to consolidate an espresso machine with the drip coffee, saving counter space. We spent over $240 and got rid of our $25 espresso maker. Big mistake. First of all, it was missing the metal espresso filter and filter holder, so we had to call and order it. They shipped us the wrong parts. Back on the phone, and sending photos to Delonghi via e-mail, after a month of messing around we got one correct part, and another incorrect part. So, here we are even later, finally trying the thing out. You have to preheat for 1/2 hour, the espresso is weak, very slow to brew and hand burns are easy if you're not just ridiculously cautious around the metal parts. We'll be selling it and looking for something else.

I called DeLonghi and read them the serial number. They said this product was over 3 years old. The LCD display does not work right, so I can't program it correctly. And the espresso maker only works sometimes. Half the time water seeps out of the side or runs down the handle of the filter. I got a great deal on it. But there is no warranty or recourse for maintenance. Lesson learned. Never buy anything half-way expensive on ebay.

I bought my first delonghi eight year ago, the Figaro. When it died I immediately went in search of its replacement. In the meantime I was utilizing a basic drip coffee maker. What a difference! I was very unhappy with the taste; had I based the flavor of Yuban on this machine it would never have been my favorite brand. I knew I would replace my old machine with the latest DeLonghi and when it arrived 7 days later I was back on track. The Nero makes the perfect pot of coffee. The flavor is rich and satisfying. Delonghi has improved the ergonomics greatly.
If you want a satisfying pot of coffee Nero is the machine of choice for me.

making coffee or espresso is hassle free here. Removable water tanks for ease of cleaning,and stainless boiler.It doesnt get any easier.Espresso side accepting grinds or pods is nice.Nozzle for cappuccino or hot water for Tea. The gold filter and programmable timer for the coffee side make this the machine too have!
