Dazzling Knits by Patricia Werner (2004, Paperback)

I bought this book without ever having had a chance to see it, simply on the strength of the pattern illustrated on the cover. This was a gamble that has MORE than paid off. This is definitely one of the best knitting books I've ever purchased & it's one to which I will continue to refer throughout my knitting career. Not only does the book include many patterns for gorgeous garments, but it also teaches you how to adapt the modular principles it celebrates to enrich your own designs. Each individual multi-color module may look difficult to execute, but Werner breaks down the knitting process for each module type into a simple, easy-to-follow set of instructions. You won't have the slightest doubt as to how to execute any aspect of any of these designs. You'll end up with one-of-akind garments beautiful enough to sell in a boutique on Madison Avenue. I can't recommend this book highly enough!

The book was out of print and I wanted a hard copy of it. The book was in excellent condition and I got it in a timely manner.
