Days of Wine and Roses
Jack Lemmon and Lee Remick were at the top of their game, this is a classic and in black in white too, oh yeah! They don't make em like this anymore. Charles Bickford was powerful as well and you could feel his pain at the realization of seeing his daughters descent into alcoholism. He had every right to be angry, she never "touched a drop" until she met Joe Clay (Jack Lemmon). I could not understand the connection that Jack Klugman made between being passionate about eating chocolate and being a potential alcoholic. Still I love this movie. The performances were all topnotch!!!
