While the plot line and dialogs leave a bit to be desired, the movie on the whole is an excellent disaster film. The special effects are top notch, and the movie is filled with lots of them.

If you are really into having a very well developed plot and characters this is not the movie for you. If you like to see special effects and alot of action, while having a story to follow, you will love it.

The Day After Tomorrow (2006, DVD) is not for everyone. I enjoyed it, and the main plot is an interesting one. The old global-warming will destroy the world.

At the time of writing, the seller is completely unknown. Please note that my reviews are made based on the product. "The Day After Tomorrow" is another fantastic Emmerich movie! Basically the extreme possibility of global warming is selected to create an almost instant ice-age. The ice advances so quick that life is caught in mid-step and it's up to a small group of kid to survive in it's path. It's really not funny but it is interesting. The special effects are excellent. Highly recommended. This version of the film is from 2006 and is on a North American DVD format. As with all films, parents of school age children should probably watch it first to verify it's OK.
