Dawson's Creek - First Season (DVD, 2003, 3-Disc Set)

THIS WAS AN HONEST LOOK AT THE DIFFICULTIES OF TEEN YEARS. MY DAUGHTER AND I BONDED OVER THE ISSUES THAT THE TEENS DEAL WITH ON THE SHOW AND I GOT TO HEAR HER PERSPECTIVE ON ISSUES AND ACTUALLY GOT TO KNOW MY TEENAGER BETTER. THE CHARACTER'S ARE NOT *PERFECT* RICH KIDS LIKE ON OTHER SHOWS, THEY ARE MOSTLY DOWN TO EARTH. THIS IS A GREAT SERIES TO RENT/BUY OVER THE SUMMER TO SHARE WITH YOUR TEEN.

I never watched this show until in Jan. 2007, my first time to rent the DVD and I know I'm so late, but this DVD is awesome. I loved it and so thats why I end up buying this DVD, the first season. I have seasons 1, 3, 4, 5, and 6...all except season 2. I won the bid for season 2 on ebay, but the person jipped me, so then I lost out. So now I'm looking for a great deal for season 2. I haven't watched 3, 4, 5, and 6 because I want to watch them in order. Joey (Katie Holmes), she is so adorable and cute. Joey and Dawson (James Van Der Beek), remind me so much of my friend and I back in High School, way back when... So watching this movie, reminds me of the good old days.

i would real like to receive one of two things... ither my money back or what i paid for... ive been waiting since the week befor christmas to recv it... my boy friend is very displeased with this... hes been waiting two months to start watching his dawsons creek p.s. i will b contacting higher powers to get this issue resolved

I bought this First Season DVD as a gift and did not have the time to go from store to store to try and find it. It was listed as new and unopened. The item came securely packed and the disc box was seal wrapped, nice. The item was delivered timely and I look to order from this vendor again.

The begining of it all! Who would of thought that this would be the making of a wonderful season. I love watching the "younger" Joey, Pacey, and Dawson grow up. This was the only season that I did not own and I am in L-O-V-E!!! I would highly recommend those of you that love mushy love stories to most definitely pick this season of Dawson Creek up before any other!!!

I have always loved Dawson's Creek and now that I have it. I won't stop watching. The interaction between characters is good and sweet. The only thing I don't like about it is that it is a short season.

DC fans would all agree that this was and is and always will be an amazing truthful adventure of true life captured on screen. Not matter what generation your in ~ if you were there for the birth of Dawson's Creek or reliving it 10 years later, or discovering it for the first time your in for wonderful ride! Get em, watch em, & share em! You won't be disapointed! :)

I love the plotlines and characters but you can definately tell it's scripted at time. As you go on it seems better the characters develope and the dialogs flow a lot smoother. Overall still a favorite series.

A definate must for any collection. I loved watching all 6 seasons more than once. There hasn't been anything like it since this series.

I absolutely love this show! I love the story line. It's one of my favorite shows! I recommend it to all!

Loved the DVD's. Great show that offers a good viewing. I like that children can watch this show. I like that you can buy the seasons from ebay and it doesn't matter if you have missed several shows during the regular season.

I BOUGHT THIS DVD BECAUSE I SEEN TWO EPISODES ON TV AND IT LOOKED REALLY GOOD.THIS MOVIE IS ABOUT TEENAGERS WHO TRY TO FIND THERE WAY IN THE REAL WORLD AND FROM WHAT I HAVE SEEN SO FAR THIS IS MORE LIKE REAL LIFE THIS SHOW IS ABOUT UPS AND DOWNS IN TEENAGERS LIVES THERE IS A GIRL NAMED JOEY WHO GREW UP WITH A BOY NAMED DAWSON WHICH SHE REALIZED SHE HAD FEELINGS FOR BUT NEVER SAID ANYTHING TO DAWSON THEN DAWSON HAS A BESTFRIEND NAMED PACEY WHO IS KINDA TROUBLED TEEN HIS DAD ALWAYS PUTS HIM DOWN SO HE DOESN'T TRY VERY HARD AT ANYTHING HE DOES BECAUSE HE CAN NEVER MAKE HIS DAD PROUD OF HIM THIS SHOW IS SO REAL FOR TEENAGERS WHO LIVE IN THIS WORLD AND TRYING TO MAKE IT IN OUR SOCIETY AS THEY TRY TO GROW UP I CAN'T WAIT TO SEE WHAT THE SECOND SEASON BRINGS I RECCOMEND THIS SHOW TO EVERYONE I CAN SEE MYSELF IN THEM SOMETIMES ALWAYS TRYING TO DO THE RIGHT THING AS I GROW UP TO BE A TEENAGER I HOPE EVERYONE WHO READS THIS FOR A RECCOMENDATION WILL THINK ABOUT BUYING THIS DVD SET IT IS AWESOME.

I used to watch Dawson's Creek in high school and after watching the 5th & 6th seasons on TV, I needed to watch the first four seasons - which are my favorite. LOVE Dawson's Creek!!!
