Davis's Drug Guide for Nurses by April Hazard Vallerand, Judith Hopfer Deglin (2006, Package)

I've bought this book awhile back before I finished my LVN program. I love this book because it so helpful in defining certain type of medicines , drugs , and also it list description on which drugs would react to certain type of other drugs. Now that I have graduated from the program , I am still going through the book and found it that it's very useful especially when I am at work. I would recommend anyone taking nursing program to buy this book.

I really like the way each drug is layed out. It describes what the drug is for and how it works. Then it discusses ways of administration and what you as the nurse need to do and monitor on the patient based on the drug at hand and any of the patient's diagnoses. Great book all in all!

It is an awesome book. I love the quick lookup feature on the cd & the fact that it is uploadable to pc/laptop. Plus I can update at anytime & keep current on meds without buying new software or books.
The best part is the bargain I got online rather than buying from the bookstore.
Book is in mint condition and was delivered quickly.

This book sets up exactly What dosages, side effects, lab values to watch, nursing interventions. I love this book.

I purchased this book because I am a nursing student. I have the teacher recommended drug book for my nursing class but after a semester of using it I was told by many students (and some teachers) that Davis's Drug book would be much easier to use. It lists all of the information I need to complete my clinical paperwork, and the information is sorted and much easier to understand with this book.

I received the book in a timely fashion and in the condition it was advertised. I would do business with this seller again. A drug book for $8.00 (with shipping) can't beat that!

Its a must have for nursing school. Just make sure you get a current issue. All of the drugs are easy to find. This book lists almost every drug you can think of amd more. I am going back to nursing school in the fall and got this to practice until I go back. When I go back I will buy a current issue.
