David Garrett by David (Violin) Garrett (CD, Jun-2009, Decca USA)

Excellent CD, it's a great mix between Classic and Rock. I enjoy this CD everyday. I will by more CD's from David Garrett.

He is a great violinist. I am not into "violin music". I did thoroughly enjoyed the more modern day tunes he did with the violin. I just wished there were more. I saw him on "Good Morning America". I thought i would try out his CD.

Amazing skill and energy . I listen to this album when I'm in my studio painting....really charges up MY energy and thought process

i love the cd, every song is good and different. it did not take very long to get to me either. i do not have any complaints about the cd or service.

I bought this for my wife, see saw the CD on channel two when they were doing a fund raiser. They showed David Garrett in concert and then offered the CD to raise funds, but the price was way to much. My wife liked his music alot.
So I went on eBay and got it for her. Now she talks to me again.

I had seen a portion of him in concert on a local PBS station during which he played the piece, "Smooth Criminal". Not having ever been much of a fan of violin music although an occasional piece was enjoyed, I was so taken with that particular arrangement, I knew I had to have the album. It has been getting plenty of use since being received!

This CD contains great music for ALL ages. I am near 60 years of age and love it. My granddaughter of 5 years age requests it to be played more than her own music collection. No regrets on this purchase AT ALL!!!

I saw this violinist on Louisiana Public Broadcasting station. I fell in love with the music! It is so relaxing and is "angelic"! I listen to it every day coming home from work! David Garrett is a very talented musician! He is originally from Germany and was invited to study at Gulliard School of Music.
Anyone purchasing this CD will be so glad they did!

I decided to buy this CD after seeing David Garrett on the PBS broadcast of Live From Berlin. This young man is amazing! I really love this CD! In particular his performance of "Nothing Else Matters" by Metallica. I will be buying more of his CD's and have shared this one with friends who are also awestruck by this virtuoso!

Saw artist on TV. Wanted his CD and found it quickly on ebay. Would recomment it if you like clasical music, especially the violin.

What do you get when you mix a young, extremely attractive artist with a violin and AC/DC??? ELECTRICITY! This guy has SUCH a stage presence and is wonderfully "watchable"! If you like violin and LOVE rock music, this guy has the ability to mix the two into a spicy show you won't soon forget. David Garrett is young, hot, and has the fastest hand on a violin I've ever seen. Give it a chance even IF traditional violin isn't your thing. You're going to be pleasantly surprised! Can't wait for more from this artist!

I bought a total of 3 CD's by David Garrett. I like the violin, but I LOVE the way David Garrett plays. I was so moved the first time I saw him on TV that I just had to have one of his recordings. Ended buying 2 of the same like this one and one other different one. I play them every night. Don't think I will ever tire of his playing. He's truly awesome, I have never seen a musician so comfortable with his instrument. He is extremely talented!!!!! Love it!!!!
