David Busch's Nikon D300 Guide

PRO:
This book is an excellent resource for any owner of a NIKON D300, whether a novice or a more seasoned photographer. It really helps to explain each function and settings of the D300 in much more detail than the NIKON D300 Instruction Manual does. Also, there are some recommended camera menu settings to help to maximize the enjoyment of the D300 under several different lighting situations.
CONS:
For a very experienced shooter the book spends a large portion dealing whith the basic "How-To's" of the D300, rather than the "Why-To's" & "When-To's". I would like to see a second volume, dealing more with "Real World" shooting scenarios and how to set up the camera for each specific types of shooting, to include Indoor, Outdoor, Flash, Low-Light, Wedding, Portraiture. This should include an in-depth, comprehensive section on proven D300 camera settings from established Professionals for each type of shooting scenario.
OPINION:
This is an very book ... A 2nd Volums would make it excellent, in my opinion !
