Date fabrics with confidence using this guide!

This is the companion volume to the first by Trestain, that covers the years 1800 - 1960. While that volume really concentrates on what I consider vintage fabrics, this one picks up in the more modern time - beginning with fabrics from the 1950's onward to about 2000.
So many of us are interested in vintage fabrics, fabric designers and manufacturers have drowned us with reproductions (aka repro's) so we can try to replicate some of those classic quilts. Use this volume with confidence, to sort out the authentic vintage from today's repro's. Nothing wrong with repro's, don't misunderstand me, but if your goal is to use authentic period fabrics, you will want a book like this to help guide your good choices.
I use both volumes a LOT, to nail down the era of the vintage fabrics I sell on eBay. My My eBay page tells you about my mom and the origin of the authentic vintage and older fabrics I sell. Since she is gone now, I rely on books such as this one to narrow down the era of the fabrics that she had not marked to era. (Gee, I miss her for a lot of reasons, that is just one!)
