Date Movie (DVD, 2006, Unrated; Widescreen)

Date Movie is Funny at times but mainly dissapointing!

I expected this movie to be incredibly funny, but it just doesn't deliver. I don't understand how they made this spoof movie wrong, but they did.

I think the main problem was that they focused the movie on spoofing too many new movies. I think if they make Date Movie 2 it needs to focus on the older chick flicks and love stories.

This is such a bad movie. That's all there is to say, it isn't good. It really isn't. Please don't buy this movie. It's a waste of money. If someone gave it to you the effort that would be involved in taking it isn't worth it.

They say it's from 2 of the 6 writers of Scary Movie. You know why they said that? Because the Scary Movie series are actually entertaining. I would reccomend Scary Movie 2 when the kids aren't home, and Scary Movie 3 if your kids are mature enough to handle it. But not Date Movie.

it looked funny, i liked some of the actors.it wasn't as funny as it looked in the preview. there were some parts of the movie that i was busting up laughing. But i thought the whole movie would be like that but it wasn't. But im not dissapointed that i bought it.

i LIKE THIS MOVIE, BECAUSE IT POKES FUN AT DATE MOVIES. IN ACTUAL DATE MOVIES, YES THE WOMEN LOVE IT, IN THIS MOVIE ITIS A MOVIE THAT MEN WOULD LIKE. I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS MOVIE TO ANYONE WITH A SENSE OF HUMOR! JUST GO TO THE BATHROOM FIRST!!!!

This movie gets 2 thumbs up from me. I absolutely loved it. I had me laughing all the way through. There was only one scene that I didn't enjoy, it's the scene where Alyson Hannigan and her boyfriend are ordering supper (in style of the American Wedding moment with Aly's character Michelle).

I think I enjoyed this movie so much because I always liked the Scary Movie movies. I thought this was actually much better than those other 4.

They make fun of a wide array of movies (and television shows): American Wedding, Lord of the Rings, Kill Bill, Pimp My Ride, Hitch, Napoleon Dynamite, Meet the Parents, Meet the Fockers, and so many others. Plus you get a funny scene with a Michael Jackson impersonator (I couldn't stop laughing).

This movie is perfect for any comedy lover, or anyone who was a fan of the Scary Movie movies.

I'm a huge fan of the Scary Movie collections, so I was eager to see how Date Movie would compare. Although the creators of the film were pretty good in encorporating their unique comedy style in it, I don't think that it was quite as funny as watching any of the Scary Movies. But it is worth watching at least once if you haven't done so already.

This is more for the young teenagers. It's pretty much a knock off of scary movie. Some parts are funny, but not enough to make me want to buy it.

This movie is not worth watching is has a weak story. Very little in the way of good humor. I will say allison is a good reason to watch but that is it

Bummer on this one, not quite as funny as I was hoping! I love Alyson, she is always a blast to watch...hello, huge Buffy fan here! But the scenes not with Alyson and some of the jokes just fell flat for us! Just not as funny as we had hoped! There has got to be better roles out there for our ex-scooby!

Scary Movie etc all classics! This DVD ranks in my bottom ten all-time worst movie list! Forget waterboarding show this at GITMO and the terrorists will say anything to stop watching! Unfortunately there was not a rating below poor!

This movie made me laugh for about 3 hours. Not do to the fact that it was funny. I ended up taking the dvd and throwing it at my buddy like a throwing star and it almost decapitated him after he told me this movie was good. DONT BUY IT. DONT RENT IT

I bought this movie because it is one of the few that I can watch with a variety of people and everyone likes it. Their is a lot of sattire and some really hilarious parts that will make you laugh until it hurts. Overall its great for entertainment!

The movie was funny, but skipped around too much, it was hard to follow.I bought it because I wanted to see it.

wasnt as funny as some of the previous "movies". the ONLY funny part was the opening with the chubby girl doing the milkshake dance (shown in the trailor) it was hilarious, but the rest of the movie wasnt as shocking, or funny as i expected and for that reason it was kind of slow.
worth renting if youre curious, but dont buy it.

This movie is much like Scary Movie -- poking fun at the overly dramatic and sappy date movies out there. Very funny!!

This movie is hilarious, the extras including in DVD are also great. A don't miss for those who love spoof movies.

Need I explain myself more? Just plain out stupid. There's no other way to descrie it really. You can only go so far on toilet humor. A sh**ing cat is not that funny.

This was a good movie. I had to watch it several times to pick up on what is going on and several different levels of the movie. It really slammed alot of other movies and that was really enjoyable to watch. I would recomend this movie to everyone.

All I can say is that it was very, very quick service, and the movie came in better condition than advertised. I'd definitely recommend this seller again.

Honestly, we're not much into parody/spoof-type movies, but DATE MOVIE UNRATED was more than we had expected, and we enjoyed it. It kept our attention throughout the whole movie. WE RECOMMEND IT! Its full of laughs!
