Date Movie
Not very good. Has some funyn moments but does little to build on the humour it delivers!
I expected this movie to be incredibly funny, but it just doesn't deliver. I don't understand how they made this spoof movie wrong, but they did.
I think the main problem was that they focused the movie on spoofing too many new movies. I think if they make Date Movie 2 it needs to focus on the older chick flicks and love stories.
Final Verdict:
2/5
Rent or Buy?: Worth a rental, but in my opinion, nothing more.

This is a great movie that spoofs tons of other movies including Lord of the Rings, Hitch, Napoleon Dynamite, Meet the Parents, Wedding Crashers and many more. It was great to see Alyson Hannigan in this movie, she does a great job with comedies (from TV Buffy the Vampire Slayer and American Pie series). It had its gross moments were you just went "Ewww..." but there were tons of funny parts. The spoof of Lord of the Rings had my hubby and me laughing for awhile there. It has a lot of "stupid jokes" but it turned out to be a very funny movie.

This Movie Sucked!!I think the only part of the movie that is really worth watching is the first 2 minutes then it gets stupid. This movie is similar to scary movie but is a bunch of chic flick like movies combines in one the way scary movie was combined from scary movies. Sure their are a few places that may make you laugh because they are stupid but overal watch before buy as we all have different tastes.
