Database Systems by Carlos Coronel, Peter Rob (2006, Hardcover)

I received the book on time. But this edition was International edition. It says not to be sold in the USA. I have not had the chance to compare it with the edition sold here therefore i have not found what the difference is. Thank you for shipping the book on time.

I really liked the lower cost than amazon. I decided to buy this item because I needed it for school.

I needed this book for a database class. It was for a refresher of database design and implementation, and principles.

I loved my book it was in good condition, and it arrived in 2-3 days. I will defintely order from e-bay again.

The book is easy to read, and there are plenty of supplements that are free from the website once the code is activated, you will get free powerpoint slides, videos of some of the lessons in the book, and online tests for each chapter to test you understanding of the key concepts.

Overall good book, I am actually enjoying learning about DBMS (Database Management Systems), there is minimal usage of MySQL, because the emphasis is placed on using Access 2007/2003, and Visio 2007.

The book arrived faster than any and was still sent media mail. But there should have been a cd with the book and it isn't there.. very disappointed about this.

Needed it for a class at University of Maryland. The book served its purpose. It was relatively easy to read and rather easy to follow.

I like this book because it is clear and concise. Easy to follow and understand. I would recommend this book to anyone studying database design and implementation. I brought this book because it is the one the teacher had choose for us to use.

I received the book in a timely manner. Although it was the international edition, it is identical to the more expensive US edition. This book has been very helpful in my junior level database class.

Unfortunatly I cannot rate the book itself because I never received it!!! As many others I was scammed by the seller. I filed a claim with ebay and am still waiting for a response as well as my refund. Finding a reliable source to save money while attending college is a necessity, but with horrible people like the seller of this book out there, I wound up spending way more than saving. BAD BAD BAD PERSON!!!

It was less expensive than at the book store however it has been 2 months and they have my money and I do not have the book. Maddddd.

I AM STILL WAITING FOR MY REFUND... After my account is being charged for amount, the seller contacted me and asked if I prefer a softcover instead. I said NO. Now I don't have my money return and the book is nowhere to be found. I would like this manner to be resolved as soon as possible. Today is 10/03/2006.

I hear its a very good book, but alas, I have no opinion. I never received the book. I've sent three emails to the sender, but again alas, to no avail. But thanks.

Very average. The book is too wordy and the layout could have been better. However, it does contain very useful information. It could be a bit more student-friendly.

When I bought this book, the idea was to save money over the college bookstore prices. Unfortunately, I never received my book ("Database Systems: Carlos Coronel, Peter Rob", ISBN 1-4188-3593-5) so I can't tell you what I like about it. I ordered this book, under Leonard Ganaden's name, on August 21, 2006, and my class started on September 11. Because of this incident, I may never use your services again.

I contacted the seller 5 times, but no response. Also, I tried leaving feedback, but the seller is no longer a registered user.

I would appreciate a refund as soon as possible. I intend to file my second claim on October 14.
