Data Communications and Networking by Behrouz A. Forouzan, Sophia Chung Fegan (2006, Hardcover)

I like the fact that it is inexpensive and readable. However, it is not exactly the same as the original. It's paperback and may easily get ripped off if not handled carefully. Also, some of the pages are inverted or upside down. The exercises at the end of each chapter of this version is different than its original counterpart. The questions are either different or may have been re-arranged to different numbers.

I think eBay representative should be more careful about what they members are selling. This book does not even come close to the original book, it is a copy probably legally published in another country. Its content seen to be the same but is quite different when it come to homework problems. It is not as is described. I know that it was sold with a much lowest price than the original but they should say so that is not the original book sold in the U.S.

As of today 10/3/2009, I have NOT RECEIVED MY MONEY BACK. IT IS A SCAM. this person does not intended to mail the book!!!!!!!!

this is one of the few books in which the international edition does not have the same content as the regular version.

Both the international and the domestic version of this book contains the same materials. The ISDN numbers might be different but you save same money and you get a book of very good quaility.

I absolutely love the fact that there is a student website which is very helpful in that it has so many different options which can be used to help students for informational purposes; from flashcards to animations to powerpoint slides and an interactive quiz for every chapter....I just love this book and I believ it would be a great addition to any Computer Science major!!!

It is not the same cover but it has the exact same content. Shipping to Puerto Rico was a little slow but I still received it on time. Great price.

To be candid, the two books i purchased from the buyer since august 28th or so, I've not gotten it and it baffled me a lot because I couldn't understand them. So far this buyer will be the first failure to me since I have being buying stuffs from ebay website.
Anyway, i wouldn't want to discourage anyone but for me they are typically failure.

This book is very nice although the first page (cover page) is different with my book that I want. But that's ok. All the content is the same. Good book to read. And fast shipping.

i got it for a good deal. There are international editions which are cheaper but they are softcover and black and white prints. The isbn and book cover designs are different but contents exactly same. Luckily I got US edition (hard cover with full cover prints) for cheap. The same book at my bookstore costs $124. Book was shipped fast cos it was located in U.S.

The item is exactly as the same as the US more expensive version. This will be a great asset for the semester.

it's price tag was so cheap, which was most appealing to me. The only thing I didn't expect it that the problem set in the back of each chapter of the book are different from the hard copy edition in the picture. that was not good in my case, because my homework problems are assigned from those ones in the back of each chapter. also the picture of the book in the ad is not the same as the picture of the international edition that was sent to me. that was tricky, and I didn't like it.
any way, other than the problems in the back of the chapters, the book is identical to the book in the picture, but in black and white and has soft cover. I would recommend it as a reference instead of buying the hardcover book for 134 dollars.
But I have to say for

I got ripped off by the seller, then Ebay mediated a resolution that was compeltely unviable.

The seller outright shipped media when paid for expedited, damaged the book through negligence and mis-represented the book in the first place.

Ebay's mediation happened through emails that were 36 to 48 hours delayed and finally gave me the option to send the book back , in 7 days, or no deal. What text book do I use in the mean time.

You can't say "I care" and it's not my problem in the same sentence and be truthful. EBAY are at best untrustworthy and you should treat them as such.

The Book is in very good condidtion when i received it.
The postal service in which it is sent is also very good cause i received my book within 3-4 days and hence i am satisfied with this purchase.
