This is one of the few war movies that accurately portrays the pains and hardships of the submariners. You have to be nuts or have a lot of guts to be a submariner and even the best of men under such circumstances are liable to lose it once in a while. The accuracy of the ships and crew uniforms along with above average plot and actors this will always be one of my favs.
