A perfect ending to this tale. I just wish we got to hear a little more on how Kellen lived the rest of his life out, but just leaves more for the imagination. I couldn't have been happier in the way the war ended. Excellent book, excellent story all together. I'll most likely read it again and again

) I bought this book because it was the last of the trilogy. All of these books were great. They keep you wanting more. The story line is so good. I wish the author would write more about these characters. Just read it & it will hook you too.

) this book was to short lol, i enjoyed it very much, and wish it had of been longer. this book is very good, and a must read for any fans of the previous 2, the outstretched shadow, and to light a candle. yes if you enjoy a good sword and magic book this is for you

I love the trilogy, and have awaited the last book for quite a while. This is a great book, although the characters sometimes blend, and are difficult to remember. One also needs to read the previous two books for the third one to make sense, even though the authors try to give a summary of the other two. Overall, a book that is a pleasure to read, and I am saddened that this was the last.
