The Darkest Night by Gena Showalter (2008, Paperback)

I've read better. I like a book where I can not 2nd guess how the story will end. Unfortunately, this story line was very predictable. Character development fails it's readers misserably. Characters could have been much more colorful. All of her men seem to have the same personality traits. Concept of story is good, but again, lacking in depth of characters. These guys could be so much deeper if she would allow them to be. I see where she has attempted it, but just does not allow herself to go with it.
