Dark Shadows: Deluxe Edition by Original TV Soundtrack (CD, Oct-1999, Varese Vintage)

this is a great album. i enjoy listening to it often. there are no scratches and polite seller. however i was disappointed because what i paid for the album i thought i was getting the poster inside as well. i didn't. over all i was satisfied with the seller and quick delivery!!

thank you for the sound track of dark shadows. brings back old memories. we use to watch the soap opera when my daughters were little. everything was as advertised.

Was so happy to find this on cd! I have the original vinyl pressing, but in this world of cd's needed to find one digital. Brings back so many memories! I love listening to Joanathan Frid's resurtation of Christina Roseeti's lovely poem, and who doesn't love Josettes Theme...so sweet?

Well, I am a long time Dark Shadows fan, and I like to listen to the opening theme, and the Collinwood theme, without having to watch the series.
The CD that I recieved was pretty much like the original music.
Robert Colbert was a genius when it came to weird, haunting music, so it was a pleasure to hear the old themes.
What I didnt like about it, was the radio interviews with some of the stars at the end.
Now having said that, most original Dark Shadows fans would get a kick out of it, I would think. I just didn't.
There were three songs I really liked, and that was the afore mentioned, The Opening Theme, Collinwood, and Josettes Music Box Theme. The rest I could have done without.
