Dark Shadows - Collection 12 (DVD, 2004, 4-Disc Set)

In volume 12 of this continuing saga of the Dark Shadows soap, Barnabus now finds himself back in 1897 by use of the mysterious I ching wands after being placed in a deep trance. Having used the wands to travel back in time to the year 1897 to meet Quentin Collins, Barnabus must try to resolve the questioned horrors being brought on by Quentin's ghost in 1970 at Collinwood by solving the questionable events caused in 1897.
As Barnabus does succeed in getting back to 1897, he now finds himself having been reverted back into a vampire and has also become trapped in his chained coffin as he was emprisoned there back in 1796 by his family.
After being freed by gypsies in the moslem seeking the Collins family jewels, Barnabus sets out to find Quentin by posing as distant cousin from England. Along the way Barnabus finds himself in a clashing duels with old nemesis Angelique the witch, the evil grasping hand of death that belongs too Count Petofi, Quentin's werewolf curse brought on by a gypsies curse that sets up Barnabus for his long awaited meeting with Quentin Collins. These are some of the obstacles confronting Barnabus on his time mission in 1897.
Another unexpected event takes place, as one time foe the very evil Reveron Trask too whom Barnabus one hundred years earlier in 1796, was buried by Barnabus in the walls of the cellar of the Old House makes his appearance at Collinwood: this eventually leads to the discovery of Barnabus being a vampire along the grounds of Collinwood and forces Barnabus into exile.
This boxed dvd set comes with 4 dvds that have ten 25 minute episodes that have been diggety remastered for greater viewing as Dark Shadows was in the later 1960's when teens would rush home from school to view Dark Shadows at 3:00 everyday on ABC television as it was with this cult classic.
