IN volume 11 of the DARK SHADOWS saga, in this 40 episodes the Living Ghost of Quentin Collins tightens his evil ghostly grip upon Collinwood and eventually drives out the Collins to take refuge at the Old House while possessing the children David Collins and Amy Jennings. Its later that her older brother Chris Jennings makes his presence known as he arrives at Collinwood. But Jennings is the barer of a very dark secret. Meantime as the mysterious beast that has been stalking and killing in Collinsport, its revealed to be a were wolf. AS Barnabus and Julia Hoffman along with Professor Stokes realize that the possessed children are dying, they find the hidden room in the West Wing along with a skeleton believed to have been Quentin Collins who was sealed up in the room in 1897. Its at this point Barnabus must contact the ghost of Quentin Collins to find out why his ghost is wrecking havoc upon the Collins family in 1970. With the discovery of the mysterious I ching wands, Barnabus uses the wands and travels back to 1897 too meet Quentin Collins, but finds himself reverted back to a vampire. This was the gothic soap opera shown on ABC tv in the 1960's that millions of teens would rush home from school to watch as Dark Shadows captured the imagination of a generation. The boxed dvd set comes with 4 dvd's with ten 25 minute episodes that have been digetly remastered for great viewing pleasure.

I have been purchasing the sets from different sellers while trying to complete my collection. I love this box set, it is different from the others as far as the inside dvd cases. It is more compact and the dvd don't fall out so easily. Most others that I received are delivered and the dvd are loose and making noise inside the box. Also I collect the postcards that come with the dvd. My last purchase from another seller was new and without the collectors card. Very pleased with this set.

If you are collecting the series you need to get this collection. Once you have watched the series it is fun to go back and watch for bloopers. Remember this was made on a tight budget so you will find occational microphone booms, lots of shadows from the microphone and occationally you will see a crew member walk on the set. Enjoy.
