Dark Shadows - Collection 10 (DVD, 2004, 4-Disc Set)

TOO ME this is where it all begins with DARK SHADOWS! The entrance of a mysterious beast of the night, the were wolf. The Entrance of the living ghost Quentin Collins played by new comer David Selby, and from that point on the show really took off. Late 12/5/68 episode #639 is when the entrance of the ghost Quentin Makes his mark on the troubled Collins family in a undiscovered sealed up room in the West Wing of the dark mansion found by David Collins and his new play mate Amy Jennings. From this point on, the ghosts of Quentin Collins and his former lover Beth Chavez raise horrors and trouble for the family of Collinwood while the mysterious beast of the night continues its killing spree. Eventually all this drives the Collins out of the Great house and forces Barnabus Collins to find a way back into the past by way of the mysterious I ching wands into the year 1897 where he's converted back into a vampire and does end up meeting Quentin Collins who was cursed. This curse is the causing the events of whats happening in the year 1970. Barnabus must try and stop and prevent the curse from ever happening and try to change the events in 1897 to prevent the horrors of 1970.
Each dvd set comes with four dvds with 10 25 minute episodes per dvd. All have been digetly remastered and are as fresh and scary as they were in 1968 when the entire youth of American would rush home and tune in to ABC tv at 3:00 pm to watch this great macomb soap that was the greatest of all time.

I received my purchase in the mail today, it was PERFECT!!! I have never seen anything packaged so well. I will definitely order the 1-9 series I need from this seller. I was very pleased and will shop here more often. Great JOB!!

I loved a scene they re-did in this dvd collection. It went farther than the original scene. This is a scene between Barnabus and Maggie in the masoleum. I think true "Dark Shadows" fans will love this scene.
Also, there are interviews with Alexandra Moltke, John Karlen, Kathryn Leigh Scott, and Matthew Hall(Grayson Halls son). I had hoped to hear something about Grayson Hall.
In this dvd collection, Barnabus Collins decides that Maggie Evans must be the life force in the experiment that he and Julia are performing for Adam.
As we all have been anticipating, Angelique comes after Barnabus.
Elizabeth Collins has an over-whelming fear of being buried alive, and is making plans for a special masoleum to be built for her.
Victoria Winters and Jeff Clark resume their relatiionship just in time for Eve to come into the picture. She reveals that she and Jeff Clark were lovers in the 1790's.
Maggie Evans begins to remember how Barnabus kidnapped her, and attempted to make her his bride. A great flash-back to this in the mausoleum.
