Still a Good Read

I have read all 20 something books of this author and obviously enjoy his writings. Like many other readers, I particularly enjoy the Stone Barrington series. It is fascinating how he builds upon characters and relationships from his many preceeding works that creates a certain intricacy and intimacy with the reader. Reading his books is like reminiscing with a good old friend; something to be savored. I like to think of his writings as desert, something
sweet and frothy that can be devoured quickly and enjoyably.
That being said, I also think his novels are becoming less dense and imaginative as compared to his earlier works. I get the feeling that like many great artists, Woods may be running out of steam. Nonetheless, this work remains desert, only less filling.
