Dark Fire by Christine Feehan (2001, Paperback, Reissue)

Seriously, who would have ever thought that a bossy, dominating, arrogant man could be so hot. Even knowing that Feehan's Carpathian men are like this, you can't help but love everyone of them and Darius is no exception. Tempest is a little to ficle for me, but she comes around and settles right in with Darius eventually. This is a great story you can't help but love.

bought because it is a part of a series and I could not find it anywhere else. The book was in excellent shape and was delivered in a timely manner.

I read the first book in the Dark Series, Dark Prince, and loved it. Christine is a wonderful and very informed writer on her topics. So, I decided to try to get the rest of the series. They are all so wonderful that since I have gotten the rest, I have been averaging about 2 books per week. I am working my way through the entire series from Dark Prince to Dark Celebration and waiting anxiously for her next book to come out.

Dark Fire is Darius and Tempest's book. It is also listed as Barack and Syndil's book, but I didn't think it devoted enough of the story to them for it to qualify. This book is a continuation of Dark Challenge, which is excellent. This book is not as good as Dark Challenge. The men lack much of a sense of humor, although Julian does provide a few laughs. If you like the Carpathian series, you might read it to keep from being confused in future books. It is good in it's own way, but some of the others are much better.

I have the rest of the dark series from Christine Feehan and I just needed Dark fire. The book was excellent and I would definatly recommend it to anyone who is reading the dark series.
