Dark Angel - Season 1 (DVD, 2009)

This was a great, short lived TV show. Lasting only two seasons but loaded with action, romance, comedy, and proto-type humans. Max (played my Jessica Alba) is a genetically engendered girl who is just trying to survive in the world. Max AKA 452 and Logan AKA eyes only are great characters that find each other then try to work with each other (doesn't always work out). While Max is trying to find her "brothers and sisters" she is able to help a lot of people along the way with help from Logan. Did I mention The Pulse happened and changed the world (most electronically devices were no longer usable). It's a great TV show and if you like Sci-Fi, I would suggest you see Dark Angel.

Season I was the best of the 2 seasons of Dark Angel. Not that season II was bad, but I think alot of times first seasons are bet because they are new and exciting. You are still looking to see where the story is heading, what the catch is. It is a tragedy that it was cancelled.

It is even worse because they had announced that it was picked up for the 3rd season. They always cancel my favorite shows though. I'm starting to think I am cursed.

Good story lines, great actions scenes, the romantic relationship is really developed. You learn to care about the characters and their struggles.

Worth watching, even though it is short lived.

This will lose some people because it is an an alternative reality were a nuclear explosion went off and only destroys Americas computers. After that it is a simple man made hero named MAX who kicks ass and saves the day in a lost land and takes out enemies from the local corrupt cop to an evil secret order bent on world domination.

Dark Angel is an exciting sci-fi series set in a dystopian not-at-all distant future. After a pulse disabled most technology in 2009, the US was set back to living like a third world country. Crime and violence run rampant. Max, played by Jessica Alba, is a genetically engineered soldier who escaped from her captors and is trying to find a life as a normal girl in this unfortunate setting. Over the series she tries to find her genetically engineered siblings and works on do-gooder causes with her romantic interest, hacker "Eyes Only" Logan.
The show set a president of having a "girl-power" lead character, who was effectively the "brawn" while male love interest was wheelchair bound and the "brains." With great story lines, romance, and plenty of action its hard to believe the series only lasted 2 seasons.

Disks were in good shape and it arrived in a timely fashion. I would consider purchasing from this person again.

Dark Angel was the first of many that started to come out in the "chicks kick butt" genre of the entertainment world a few years back. As an avid lover of this genre, I was readily sucked into the series during its first season. The bleak futuristic setting, the camaraderie of the characters, the scientific intrigue of genetically enhanced super-soldiers, and the action all kept me entertained. But as a red-blooded male, it is pretty obvious why I bought this DVD set: it doesn't matter whether you own a plasma, DLP, or regular tube TV, the exotic beauty of Jessica Alba will melt your screen.

I'm a big fan of Jessica Alba, but this Dark Angel Season is Terrible! To begin with, Jessica Alba doesn't look very good in Season 1. The shows are quite boring with horrible acting and minimal (if any) special effects. Altough I watched the whole season continously hoping that it would get better, it never did. The show actually seems as if it was made for kids to watch, the whole storyline is designed for teenagers.

I love this show and was so sad when they cancelled it. I couldn't wait for the dvd boxset to come out. All the episodes are of high quality and no commercials! The special features include bloopers, commentary, and more. The box itself holds the sixth season and features lots of pictures of the characters: Max, Logan, Original Cindy. Can't wait to get the second season.

I loved the series and hated when it ended. I love having it on DVD to watch over and over again. It was inventive and thought provoking. The decision to get it was an easy one. I wanted to hold on to it for availability to watch it when I want and I like using it when trying to teach children about too much power and not enough compromise. It also shows how people with handicaps are still just people, nothing more or less and that we all have feelings. It's a great teaching tool, believe it or not.

The video was shipped in mint condition, and was adequately protected by the shipping material. Sellers such as this make me continue to utilize EBAY.

I bought it for my niece who is a big fan. I always buy her what she wants. It was a good deal from the Seller.

I am a big sc-fi and Jessica Alba fan. Thought the 1st season was a really new and different idea for tv. I decided to buy this item because it was new / unopened and pretty inexpensive.

What's not to like? Dark Angel was a wonderful series about people fighting for equality for everyone. I was very sad when it ended. I thought the cast was great and their ideals were worth fighting for.

Dark Angel is a fun and humorous sci fi. It has interesting plot lines and interesting loveable (not cuddly just likeable) characters.

I BOUGHT THIS DVD SET A MONTH AGO AND HAVE WATCHED AT LEAST ONE EPISODE EVERYDAY SINCE.IT IS A WELL CONSTRUCTED BOX THE SET IS MADE IN, SO IT UNFOLDS COMPLETELY TO EASILY FIND THE DISK WANTED. I LOVED THIS SHOW WHEN IT WAS ON TV, SO I REALLY ENJOY HAVING THE DVDS TO WATCH WHEN I WANT. THE ONLY THING I DON'T LIKE ABOUT IT, IS THAT NOW I WANT TO KNOW HOW THE STORY ENDS , INSTEAD OF KNOWING THAT IT JUST WENT OFFAIR.

The best show ever on tv show network i believe there was nothing wrong with the show full of tones of Action...Fox really owe us big time we need a movie to finsh the seris but there alway the books they wrote they goes on where season 2 left off... but i hope to see the show return Jessica alba rocks

did not realize disk one was missing till after buying. price was cheap enough and shipping fair. they should have put in description that disk one was missing so it would not be misleading, never the less my fault left positive feedback
