Dante's Cove - The Complete Second Season (DVD, 2007, 2-Disc Set)

I have to be truthful and say I wasn't impressed with season 1, but season 2 is a different story. This 2nd season was very well written and the actors and actresses seem to have gotten more into their roles. It was fast paced and the viewer was truely left wanting "more" at the end of this season. Well done and yes there is eye candy for the viewers but it was all tastefully done. You'll love all of the plot twist and turns.

I own the dvd of the first season and really enjoy gothic stories and the gay subtext in this series is an added pleasure. Its sort of like Queer as Folk meets Dark Shadows.

you will love it as much as I did, it leaves you wanting more just like a soap should. you won't be disappointed!

I was hooked after Season 1 and since I don't have access to the channel this is on I have to get the DVD. The actors are nothing less then totally hot. It is more then just a gay series. You get wrapped up in the mystery behind what is going on you forget that this is a well portrayed gay series. If you liked the sincerity, realness, and heart tugging strings of 'Brokeback Mountain' you will fully enjoy Dante's Cove

I WAS AT A FRIENDS HOME LAST YEAR FOR ONE OF OUR MOVIE NIGHTS AND HE PUT ON THIS SHOW CALLED DANTE'S COVE AND FROM THE MINUTE I BEGAN WATCHING IT . I WAS HOOKED. THE CAST OF UNKNOWNS ARE INCREDIBLE. THE ONLY ONE CAST MEMBER I KNEW WAS TRACY SCOGGINS, WHO LOOKS AMAZING FOR HER AGE. WAS THE PERFECT VILLAIN. I HOPE IT CONTINUES FOR MANY MORE SEASONS.

Dante's Cove is a guilty pleasure. A fun campy show simular to Dark Shawdow meets Melrose Place. Tracy Scoggins is wonderfully exciting to watch and all the Men of Dante's Cove are absolutely perfect eye candy!! Just remember this is a soap opera type show and just sit back and enjoy the view. The acting is sometimes over the top, but for the most part it does draw you into the story. Absolutely love this series!! Because of the overt sexual sceens you probably do not want your children watching. Can't wait until the third season is available because I will be purchaseing that as well. The only bad thing I can say about it is that the season is too short.
