Dante's Cove - The Complete First Season (DVD, 2006, 2-Disc Set)

This gay serial is addictive. It has witches,warlocks, ghosts and beautiful people. Its very reminencent of serials past. Think the seaside of The OC, everyone lives in Hotel Dante, sex, shenanigans,Melrose Place, and over all feel of Dark Shadows. Tracy Scoggins(The Colbys/Dynasty) is the most famous of the cast. Its major characters are gay/lesbians and has bi and straight characters. Its on a new HERETV network and so doesnt have the big budget of bigger network shows. The scrips are a little light but thouroly entertaining.Does have brief nudity, some full frontal, but mostly topless women and bare backsides on the guys. WHOOOHOOOOO!!!!
In 1840 Grace is a high priestess who catches her fiance' having sex with his male butler and kills the butler and chains up her fiance in the basement for 160 years only to be freed by the kiss of a man. Toby the shows hero is in love with Kevin whos been cast under a spell after kissing the fiance'. The dvd package is 2 discs and the pilot is on disc 1 and the other 2 episodes on disc 2 and ina movie format. they dont break it down per episode with themes and all. Very entertaining and I highly recomend for harmless fun. Definatly buy!!!!
