Dangers of Deceiving a Viscount- a wicked web!!

I was truly captivated by this well written tale. And readers, what a wicked web of lies this book contains. Lady Phoebe Fairchild is being backmailed and sees no other way than to pose as the fictitious "Madame Dupress", the seamstress, to design suitable gowns for the Viscounts sisters. As soon as she arrives at the country estate, she begins to see she might not have taken the right path; however, she decides that she can pull the lies off for a short time and no one will get hurt or be aware of her true identity. As her assignment continues, she is fast in making friends with the servants, frustrated with her new clients, and drawn to the viscount as she has never been tempted before. Her lies keep getting her in deeper and when she has a chance to tell the truth, it somehow passes by. And in the end, the lies do catch up with her and at a very dramatic point in the book.
I do not wish to spoil the book for you, but I stongly believe you will enjoy the tale and the ending. Just as in life, lies do seem to catch up with you. It was nice to see a story written about deception with a twist at the end. Everything does work out in time as it should--- but the journey if fun and exciting.
I loved the characters and the way the servants related to one another in this book. I also like how the emotions of the characters where written so vividly that you could relate to them.
This is the 3rd book of a series and the first one that I have read. I can'
t wait to read the others.
