Dance upon the Air/Heaven and Earth/Face the Fire by Nora Roberts (2005, Abridged, Compact Disc)

Let me start out by saying that I'm not really a fan of the typical romance novel. I enjoy a good love story like most, but if I am looking for a book, I don't usually find myself in the Romance section. Needless to say, I didn't come upon this trilogy on my own. A dear friend recommended it to me because she knew of my love for fantasy. Show me a book with magic, any kind of supernatural theme, and I will take the bait. I was still a bit hesitant because Nora Roberts is known for romance novels. I was very happily surprised to find that she was not just another romance novelist. The story of the Three Sisters Island is a full bodied story, weaving in 3 love stories, a wonderful world of magic and a whole lot of girl power. Anyone who is into any of these things will find themselves very satisfied with this series. I read them a long time ago, and now, I am into audiobooks. I listen in the car on my way to and from work, or when I am running errands. Listening to this familiar story has been just as enjoyable as reading this series so long ago.
