This is one of the most sound, the simplest, & the best books I have found written on the subject of anger! It really makes us take a long, hard look at self, & maybe see something better than we thought we saw before! Not ALL anger is bad! Sometimes it can be a life-saver!

This book explains anger so much. I kept seeing myself in different examples given. Just about the only thing that I did not agree with the author on was that you should never quit talking to family....there are some family members that are toxic and should be avoided. I think it provides a great insight into the dynamics behind the causes of anger.

It was a great book to learn positive, workable ideas - it should be read more than once to help remember the steps to take when a situation arises where anger wants to rule. Taking an opposite approach or softer approach has to be learned and practiced, but quite a benefit to oneself when implemented. I've practiced the opposite approach and it works! Outbursts of anger don't solve anything; they just make everyone else "comfortable" knowing you don't really mean what stands behind the anger - - it's just a "show" one more time. Not dancing to someone else's manipulative tune is what really changes your situation!

My mother and My Aunt read this in the 60-70's &now II now some people who have issues from painful things that have happened to them in the past (broken children) I think need to read this book and I have passed it along to them already

I purchaced a book for my daughter and I recieved a book in almost new condition. I was very pleased with the condition of the book. Very good quality for the money. Less expensive that buying new and you get the same product! Very worth looking for a book you want on e-bay than in your local book store.

I would read the first 3 chapters & throw the rest away.

One of the very best books I have ever read. It is one the everyone should read. If one has complaints in live, one must look at themselves for changes, and everyone possess anger, but learning that this is not a bad emotion, this book teaches you how to use it wisely with results.
