I love the Dallas series -- I bought it to help complete the series I have. It's one of my guilty pleasures and I enjoy the fun of watching it and remembering things from way back when!!

Great show, great characters, great cliffhangers, better than Dynasty. The original primetime soap. J.R. Ewing is one of the greatest characters in TV history. The show had modest beginnings as just a mini-series for CBS, but was picked up as a series and went on to become the number one show for five consecutive years. The classic "Who shot J.R." is still one of the highest rated shows ever on television. 356 Episodes total, a mini-series - "Dallas - the early years", and a follow-up TV movie to wrap up the series "Dallas - J.R. returns" made for Great escapism entertainment. They just don't make TV shows like this anymore, and nobody's more fun to watch than J.R. Ewing. Other shows tried to cash in on it's success - but there's only one DALLAS.

) From America's Team to America's TV Show, Dallas, the city that host this fantastic decade of entertainment wrapped up into a believable nighttime drama. This particular season was even more special as love, lies, death, jealousy, anger, and greed are realistic to todays world and topics. I can't wait until season 11 is released. love the show hate having to wait for the next season wish they were all out you dont realize how much you missed until you watch them all together love the show wish they could all come back and make about 10 more seasons love all the cast members they were all great.

JR at his evil BestThe REAL decline of "Dallas" starts after this season. People can say what they want, but the 1986-1987 season was "Dallas" back to it roots and a really good season. The season ends with Pam crashing her car into a tanker as Victoria Principal leaves the series. "Dallas" never felt the same again. Yes, there are good episodes post this one, but not THAT good. Don't miss out on J.R:s confrontation with Jeremy Wendell towards the end of this episode, a true classic for any fan, with J.R:s famous words "Wendell, you touch that painting and I'll kill you where you stand!" And, although he was no fighting ninja, J.R truly meant it.
