I originally purchased this book because I have heard Joel Osteen speak many times. He has the capability of capturing the audiences attention with such devotion to the Word of God, and making the audience feel right at home with regular everyday conversation and ease. There is no false pretense, no better than thou attitudes that some speakers may have, and he is just so with it, that young and old generations alike, feel comfortable with him.

I have read all his books, and have gone as far as to highlight each passage that I want to memorize. He is fantastic and I love watching him on TV .

He will motivate you to get up and get moving, and hear and speak the Word of God.

This book was sensational, and I will read it again.

Plainly written and very powerful. My husband and I have watched Joel Osteen on TV on and off for some time. We decided to get one of his books because we enjoyed his TV services and his message has always been inspiring. His book gives hope and faith and was a life changing experience. It helps you re evulate yourself and get closer to God.

It is easy reading, scriptional based & to the point. I absolutely love it &
recommend it to everyone - almost daily. (I work retail.) It helps me face
day-to-day situations with the assurance that God is in control. We all need
to be reminded of this, & Joel Osteen does exactly that in his devotions. I
honestly look forward to my daily readings. There is absolutely nothing about
this book that I dislike.

If you ever need encouragement or a positive uplifting message to give you hope for tomorrow, Joel Osteen's teachings are for you! If you can get past his "perma-grin" outward appearance, you will find that there are presented solid biblical truths and principles to guide and encourage you in your everday Christian walk. He is definitely one of my favorite teachers!!! He reminds us that God can make a way (turn around any circumstance - even ones that seem impossible)!!!

I love watching Joel Olsteen on Sunday mornings since I do not get out to Church. In every show he is very uplifting which makes me feel good inside. That YES, even though things are not going great in my life, I know that with God's help, I will make it though.
The book points me to a passage in the Bible and helps me gain insight as to how just reading the Word of God is reassuring. Then Joel tries to put things into perspective which gives me other things to think about and reaffirm my views and belief in God. So many times we try to do things our way instead of God's, that we should remember that he takes care of our daily needs, that we should not worry so much.
This is a very worth while book to read and meditate on. I am glad that I found him on TV.

I have read many of inspirational books, not finishing a one entirely. But this book is different. Gives me hope in all areas of my life. This book brought me out of my hoplessness and despair. I bought this copy for a friend of mine.

If you read one chapter (a mere page and a half) each morning to start your day . . . you will see change. In this book, Joel takes his motivational outline and breaks it out into snippets to apply to daily life.

I love this book. The readings are short but very meaningful. It has helped me refocus my priorities and is helping me get a better attitude towards life.

This is a Wonderful devotional book. My husband & I have been reading it for about a month and I decided to purchase one for my parents. Joel Osteen is definitely allowing God to use him to help many people. I would highly reccomend this and all of Joels books to any & all Christians or to anyone who needs to be uplifted & encouraged.

I bought this book because a friend recommended it! I do most of my reading in the bathtub, and what I like most about this book is because it's easy to read! The devotions are only 2-3 pages long. You can read one every night and have lots of time to ponder what you've read. It's very inspiring...especially for those of us who think mediocre is great! I'd recommend this book to anyone!

I highly recommend this book to everyone. It is filled with uplifting stories that are only 2 to 3 pages long. I have bought over 20 in the last 2 years and hand them out to different people that need a lift. Everyone that has come back to me, has commented that it is an amazing book. It gives one hope and reinforces their faith in God.

When my teenage daughters seem in a bad mood or are talking negatively about life, I send them off with the book and tell them to randomly pick 3 "stories" and then come back to me. Inevitably, they return in a much better mood and are refreshed and ready for the world.

I wholeheartedly recommend this book to everyone. It is not religion forced down your throat. It is a collection of positive messages from a very passionate man who happens to be a preacher. His enthusiasm for life is contagious. I hope you will try it.

Bought the book for a gift. The person had it on their Christmas list. I have read and heard messages by this author and have been touched and encouraged by him. I knew the person was going through a hard time and I thought the book could be of help to them on a daily basis.
