I think this movie was a great view into the life of Jeffrey Dahmer. Not everyone has heard this part of his story. The music for the film was fantastic as well.

This was a pretty good movie EXCEPT for the ending. It showed no court trial whatsoever that leads to his sentencing/punishment which to me is important in a documentary movie about a serial killer as notorious as Jeffery Dahmer.

The best movie based on a serial killer. Like Steve Railback's Gein this movie takes a psychological approach to examine its subject so if it's blood and guts you're after I wouldn't recommend it but the fact that they purposely left out the gore makes the movie even better. Jeremy Renner's performance as Dahmer is amazing, I didn't know who this actor was until I saw this movie and I couldn't think of a better casting choice. The entire cast does an outstanding job altogether. A definite must for those interested in psychology and serial killers.

This movie was Ok. A lot of facts but also a lot of stuff that was overlooked. Story played out more like a made for TV movie on Lifetime. The ending was a total dissapointment.Rent before you buy!

Lame. Though accurate. Even down to the apartment number. Not enough gore. Was more like a demented sexually repressed love story. Had potential to be much better.

Serial killer Jeffrey Dahmer was a strange man indeed. That makes for good movie-making. This movie was a little strange and slow-moving. I didn't mind the movie, but it seemed to concentrate on average ordinary day life a bit too much, and not enough on some things like HOW DID HE GET CAUGHT? Most serial killer movies show that somewhere, so if you don't exactly know what happened, that's what the movie is for. It just stops at random place in the movie, and you're left going Huh? It could've been a much better movie, had it not been for some of the slow moving scenes, and the ending that makes you wonder why they didn't finish the movie. The movie is informative, but at the same time kind of disappointing.
