Daddy (DVD, 2006)

WhenI bought this movie I wasn't quit sure what to expect, yet in watching it I was quit impressed. I really thought this would be a great movie for kids in Jr. High and High School to watch to better inform this as to the effects of our actions in our lives, and how some don't just get fixed by others but require responsibility for decisions that we make weather they be easily fixed or ones that take the rest of our life. I felt that this movie touched on those things and didn't just allow the parents to just make it go away but made the boy be accountable. More of us have to be that way instead of blameing others or excuses for our actions. I first bought the movie because I really like the actor Dermot Mulroney even though he was quit young, he and the other actors and actresses did quit well. Good motivator and teaching skills for all of us to learn I felt were expressed in this movie.

The movie is great movie and the shipping was fast too.. I have wanted this movie for a long time.. They shipped it out soon and there e-mails are very very nice......I would buy from them again...

I was looking for any movies with this particular actor, Dermot Mulroney. I thought Mr. Mulroney was very good in this movie. I think he is a very taleted actor and I enjoy his movies. Daddy was a very realistic story dealing with teen pregnancy and the trials of becoming a teen parent.

I've used this movie for years in my Parenting classes. It looks at teen pregnancy from the Dad's point-of-view. It also doesn't glamorize it and shows how much it can change your life and future. It is a good portrayal of how teenagers are not ready to be parents.
