DTV - Pop and Rock (VHS)

DTV is the Wizardry of WALT DISNEY coupled with your favorite POP songs.DTV in my vocabulary is AMAZING.This is what Disney should be like today but its not unfortunately. DTV was on the Disney Channel in the 90's. Disney I do believe made a total of 6 DTV videos. 1 of which is very very RARE and HARD to find. The name of it is MONSTER HITS.IF anyone has it let me know.

My son just loves these oldies but goodies. I'm so glad I found this out-of-print video for him! It was a hit.

This video was a staple of my life when I was under 10, and I had recently developed a hankering to download all the songs featured in it. To my surprise and delight, instead of finding a simple tracklist online, I found an eBay auction selling it! Some things from my childhood, upon revisit, turned out to be stupid, but this video delivered. Now, it seems just as clever, if not more so, than when I used to watch it was a kid. The old-school Motown songs are just awesome, and the others are classics worth a listen (Johnny Burnette's "Dreamin'" comes to mind). The way the old-school cartoons are set to music is entirely hilarious --- fun all around for adults as well as children. I just wish they'd re-release it on DVD, but, for now, I am going to encript it online.
