This is an excellent item for anyone on the go. This is the 2nd one i have owned, the first one stopped working some weeks ago (it was 2 and half years old and used quite often). A good batter life, watching video will last about 4 hours. Listening to music on it should last 12 hours. You can put video from your computer or dish newtwork dvr on it to watch later and it also has a ablity to record live tv using the docking pod. For music you can sync with your windows media player or manually put the music on. You can also put photos on the pocketdish. The AV700E model has a 40g hard drive.
