This is the least promoted Mellencamp work, but it is as good as scarecrow, maybe even better. This man's ability to write about middle-class and poor people and the events in actual life that affect us is never wavering and always right on the mark.

) I think this has become my 2nd favorite. Sorry, my live at the Paradise 1979 in Boston beats everything I have ever heard.
This is a great cd. Can not recommend it enough to any one who is a fan.

Mellencamp CD
) I wasn't looking for this CD when I found it. I was actually looking for another CD but when this was offered by the seller. I haven't heard of this Mellencamp CD and I have been a fan of his for quite some time. When I got the CD I couldn't believe what a rare find I had. I absolutely LOVE this CD!! I like ALL the material he has written because it is another side of his music. Classic,vintage, Mellencamp.
