Custom Knits by Wendy Bernard (2008, Hardcover)

I love this book!!! After taking it our of the library 10 times, I succumbed and purchased on ebay. Each project is not only very fashionable, but fitted, stylish, and easy. I also love how Ms. Bernard adds hints on how to change the patterns. Making the tee with buttons and ribbing, but I've decided to make full length and I might add a hood (they are so popular with the young). Each pattern is great and the cover pattern I visualize as a zipped hoodie and will be the next project. That's not to say that the book is great as is, with no alterations at all. Each style is what you'd like to wear and I appreciate that she gives directions for plus sizes as well. The writing is excellent as are the illustrations and photos. I prized part of my knitting library, full of classic designs.
