Cursed (DVD, 2005, Unrated)

Well-done suspense thriller concerning werewolves in Los Angeles, directed by Wes Craven. This film stars Christina Ricci as Ellie and Jesse Eisenberg as Jimmy who have yet to come to terms with the death of their parents. Also features a superb supporting cast including Portia De Rossi, Shannon Elizabeth, Judy Greer and Mya. The only negative of this film - Joshua Jackson seems to be wasted as the love interest for Ellie, as the writers do not develop this character other than to imply that he has quite a reputation as a ladies' man. This UNRATED version is at times gory, but overall has a consistent plot and good acting. The ending was a nice touch, with Jimmy, a nerdy high school student, realizing that he has become the love interest for the very attractive Kristina Anapau.

I HAVE SEEN THIS MOVIE MANY TIMES ON TV AND ALWAYS WONDERED HOW IT WOULD GO WITHOUT THE CHOPPING CROPPING AND COMMERCIALS EVERY 4 MINUTES.
IT WAS WELL WORTH THE PRICE TO ACTUALLY SEE IT IN ONE PIECE. THE DIFFERENCE IS AMAZING.

TV EDITORS TEND TO PICK THE DRAMA POINTS TO INTERRUPT THE MOVIE WHICH TOTALLY DESTROYS THIS ONE TO THE EXTENT IT MAKES ME ANGRY ENOUGH TO DISLIKE THE PRODUCTS THEY ARE SELLING.

We bought this movie due to the quite interesting previews. After watching it the first time, we found it to be "ok". Its a decent film, but not anything spectacular. Directed by Wes Craven, with some very good special effects, while some being overboard and quite unrealistic. Definitely not a scary film, nor [terrifying] as they state on the cover by film reviews.

If you liked American Werewolf in London, you will probably like this.

I got the movie thinking it was the orginal.and was pleasently surpized. I liked it better then the orginal. a lot more detail and special affects in the show. I give it an A+ in filming.

The unrated version of this dvd was great, had better parts in it, a very good werewolf dvd!! Would recommend!!

I expected a little more cleverness from Wes Craven,but all over this movie is pretty entertaining.The unrated version does have a couple more gory scenes,which always helps when it comes to a werewolf movie.The acting is decent,although I was glad to see Christina Ricci recently decided to go for bangs,her forehead was extremely distracting in this movie,it was actually scarier than the CGI werewolves.

CHRISTINA RICCI, SHANNNON ELIZABETH, JOSHUA JACKSON, THIS VERSION IS MORE FRIGHTENING THAN THE ORIGINAL THAT WAS IN THE THEATRE.

Once this item was payed for the sender immediately sent me the movie. It got here quickly.
I liked that it was quick and easy and not difficult at all to deal with.
I decided to buy this item because I remember a few years back my sister and I would watch this movie because we thought it was hysterical.

Cursed, a movie that frequents the SyFy channel often. The movie is not as bad as most movies on SyFy, and it has pretty good effects, as well as a good story and cast.

As far as werewolf flicks goes, this is an updated version thats not to bad. Lots of action, spine tingler, and in the end, you just want her & her brother to knock the bad guys block off! Dont you love happy endings? Not for the kiddies.. teens that dont have weak stomachs are ok.

I bought this movie after seeing previews about it on another movie. At first, i thought it to be just another great horror flick but to my suprise it was much better. Not only was it horror but the added comedy scenes just made it that much better. This in my book is a must see movie. Outstanding graphics with a great story line also. The only bad part is i didn't get to see this movie sooner and i would watch it again. My whole family loved it also and says alot when it comes to all 6 of us, even my 4 year old wanted to watch it again right after it ended. All in all, Thumbs up for this 5 of 5 star movie.
