) Visually stunning, but weak on the storyline. The first half of the movie is dull, long and boring. Characters are melodramatic. No matter how grand the glamorous they portrayed the palace, the setting of the world in this movie is too narrow. It could be better if the characters have more "character". The is no background story of why the emperor became the way he is. A flashback of the emperor's past would help. A "C" movie.
